It has been a wild four weeks since my last blog. This blog will just be some brief highlights.

Quick little Ministry Update:
Ministry here in our first location has been so full! It has definitely been exhausting some days but God has been teaching the whole team full dependence and surrender on Him and this will help set us up for the rest of the Gap Year! We have been able to meet and impact so so many students. I have learned so much just from listening to different stories. Honestly it still blows my mind that I am all the way across the world being a light for Jesus. Overseas missions has been my dream for years and it is awesome the ways Jesus provided for me to be here. He has enabled our team to plant so many seeds here and I cannot wait to hear all about what He does. In this first ministry location, I have definitely been learning what it looks like to reflect Christ simply by the way I live. I have had to continually love and shine His light even through exhaustion and being hindered by my often unwilling heart. Jesus is faithful!! What an honor it is to be a servant of the King.
Also, I have gotten the amazing opportunity to personally share my testimony to both individual students and also in a group setting. Praise Jesus!! God has definitely been growing my confidence for Him and sharing the Gospel with boldness.

Personal growth (There's been a lot of it):
God has been doing so much work in my heart and I am honestly overwhelmed by his consistency and faithfulness. He is taking me through a journey of uprooting deep sins from my heart. This is a really hard process to go through but it shows me just how deeply He cares by the fact that He doesn't want me to stay living in these lies and sin patterns. This past week especially, He has blessed me with some extra time to sit and reflect on the things in my heart and from my childhood. Digging deep in my heart is not something I enjoy doing, in fact I love to avoid it in every way possible. And honestly at the beginning of our time here, I was completely doubting that I ever even had the ability to uncover the roots behind some of the sin patterns and thoughts in my life. I doubted that Jesus could shine light and bring freedom. I felt like I was on the edge of a huge battle, and I felt like I had to fight alone with my own strength. Good news, Jesus was always right there by my side just eagerly waiting to display His goodness and faithfulness. He has specifically been answering my desperate prayers and shining His light in my hard heart. Freedom is coming and it has already been won for me on the Cross. There's honestly countless moments I could share but just know that Jesus is up to some good work in my heart and in this country. He has me just where He wants me and that is becoming more and more evident to me over time. It's crazy to me that Jesus responds to my stinky attitude and heart posture by sending waves of grace and joy. Being a daughter of The King is the best thing that has happened to me and simply walking with Him daily is enough.
Enjoy some beautiful pictures that display God's goodness and creativity:
Team Prayer requests:
1. At least one person from our team has been sick pretty much every day this past month here. :/ Pray for full health!
2. We officially have three weeks left at this location (crazy!!) Time has definitely flown. Pray that we will be able to finish out our ministry here well - helping the staff as best we can. (Running the race set before us! Hebrews 12:1). We want to be able to bless the staff here as best as we can.
Personal Prayer requests:
1. A renewed joy and energy over the next coming weeks.
2. Fruitful time in the Word.
3. A vision for how to best bless the relationships I have started here. Meaning: I am finding it hard to know how I am going to stay connected with students. I want to make an impact in their lives but I can only do that through the Spirit and in the way He wants.
Praise Reports!!:
- Precious has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya where she will be doing ministry until she can join our team. This is such awesome and exciting news!! Pray that her time there would be fruitful for the Kingdom and encouraging to her faith.
- By God's grace, we have already reached and exceeded our relationship and gospel sharing goals (that we made at the beginning of our time here). Praise Jesus for His goodness!! Several students have come to know Him (YEAHHHHHHH) and we have shared the gospel with over 80 students!!!! God is AWESOME. Seeds have been planted. God is working in this country and around the world.
That's all for now ;)
Dance and sing praises to the Lord with me!!
Praising the Lord with you, Megan, and so thankful for His evident work in and through you all! Continuing to lift up your team and these requests. Love you, girl!!💗
