Poem Inspired by PSALM 23

Jesus is my Shepherd, I am His silly little sheep

I skip in fields, wanting nothing more than to please Him

There is no where else I'd rather be

I'd do anything, go anywhere

Just to be by His side and listen to His voice

He has all the best stories to tell

And He wrote a pretty good one for you & me

He leads me to beyond beautiful places

My expectations smashed everytime, finite brain unable to comprehend the riches in store

How beautiful to me are your thoughts, plans, ideas

You have nothing but the very best in store (pro grocer)

I have never known a love like this

So deep, so personal, so sacrificial

I am invited to dine

VIP access to the heart of God!

Yet I am just a little kid who sits at His feet

Who am I???

I am gonna see the new holy land with my own new eyes, the King by my side

The Father's heart is for me

What better news is there?

What more do I need?

You are rising up new wellsprings of life inside of me

Psalms I didn't even know were in me, but they were made just for you

Crafted in the depths of my suffering savior

Full freedom has been purchased for me

Every enemy will fall

I will tread on them all

What do I have to fear?

Nothing

He came, experienced the inner war

He won the victory for us all

His kids

HALLELUJAH HE CAME!!

Where would I be if He didn't?

You surround me with the light of your presence

I am floating.
