My name is Megan Clarke and this is a little bit of my story relating to the beginning of my blog concerning my gap year journey. 

 

The past two years or so I have been feeling restless and frustrated about the plans for my future. I had the wrong mindset about God's plan for my life and I wasn't entrusting every part of my life (including my future) to Him. However, little did I know, God was slowly placing an exciting calling on my heart. I have always wanted to travel internationally but never knew it could become a reality so soon! I was stuck in indecision and frustration when it came to choosing a college career path. Over time, I realized there should be no rush in figuring out what is best for you. I decided I would make my traveling dreams a reality while most importantly serving the Lord. I wanted to pause and give the Lord room to work in my heart and surrender every aspect of my life to Him. I am excited to see how I can use my God-given talents to further His kingdom. Pray for my heart as I trust in the Lord and discover more about myself, His creation, and His plans for me.
